Holocaust WW2 and Queen Esther

Holocaust, WWII, and Queen Esther with Kate Breslin, Heritage of Truth, JeanneDennis.com

August 15th, 2015, marks the 70th anniversary of the end of World War 2, when Japan surrendered to the Allies. On September 2, 1945, Japan formally surrendered, ending the war all over the world.

During that war, Allied countries fasted and prayed for victory against the Nazis, fascists, and imperialists. The dangers people faced then parallel many of today’s events, and God is calling His people to prayer as evil again rages around the world.

Today’s guest, Kate Breslin, is an award-winning first novelist. She joins Jeanne Dennis to talk about her timely book For Such a Time.

The story takes place in 1944 during the Holocaust and parallels the story of Queen Esther in the Bible. The Jews of Esther’s time fasted and prayed, and God delivered them.

Kate uses her story to offer hope to people today.
