Liz Cotrill, owner of a homeschool lending library, joins Jeanne Dennis to discuss the importance that reading plays in everyone’s lives. She extols the value of “living books,” those that stay in our memories and help change our lives.
Liz offers statistical information about reading and what you can do to help encourage your children to become enthusiastic readers for life.
She also bemoans how electronic media dominate the lives of children and adults and take the place of the healthy and adventurous experience of reading great books.
