SILVER DREAMS

by Angela Castillo

It is a summer’s eve,
The air is still,
Locusts buzz,
Whippoorwills cry,
Summer has settled over the hill

It is a night for dreaming,
I hope that you will see,
Will you come,
Will you stay,
To dream a bit with me?
