Once Upon a Truth
Children love stories, especially at bedtime. The Bible teaches us to share God’s truth with our children and grandchildren all day, every day. But it doesn’t have to come only from Bible stories. Discover how you can use everyday books, stories, songs, and family history to reinforce biblical truth and help children understand and live out their faith.

He wants to use your life for His glory. Let’s discover what gifts and talents God has given you, which part of the world He wants you to impact for Christ, and how you can get started.

In Preparation for Christmas:
Four Ghosts, a Grinch, and a Midnight Train
Let’s face it. Christmas movies are fun. But what messages do they really convey? Does it matter? Let’s shed the light of Scripture on popular Christmas movies. We’ll examine what messages they convey and talk about how we can use them not just for entertainment, but as tools to help build our families’ faith, clarify truth in the midst of fantasy, and make family Christmases more special than ever.

“I’ve had the joy of working with Jeanne Dennis at writers conferences and have known her as a speaker for many years. She is approachable, knowledgeable, and encouraging, whether she’s speaking to writers or Christian groups. Add to that her beautiful singing voice, and you have the perfect keynote speaker!”
Vonda Skelton, Founder and Co-Director at Christian Communicators Conference
“I invited Jeanne to speak at Biola University for the 2007 NACCAP conference based on her established reputation as a published author of Homeschooling High School: Planning Ahead for College Admission. One session was directed to Admissions Personnel to help them effectively process and support home schooled applicants, the other session was to help homeschool families plan ahead for college admission. She was a delight to work with, knew her material well, was very personable, and became an immediate friend. As the Director of School and Church Relations, Jeanne contacted me to provide feedback for the above book that she authored. I was honored to have several quotes included in her book and was impressed with the end product. She shared several books with my family and I especially enjoyed Running Barefoot on Holy Ground. It is exceptionally well written, authentic, and playful.”
